On her ‘Monday Motivation’ series on Twitter, Thapar wrote that we should try to get better at apologizing someone whom we have hurt by mistake even if the task seems to be difficult
“Monday motivation - Many find apologising very difficult,” she wrote in her tweet.
“When you are wrong, have hurt someone who didn’t deserve it, why would you not do it ? Let’s get better at saying ‘I’m sorry’ ! Have a super week ahead,” she added
Apologising someone is the first step we can take to sweeten a relationship that we might complicate ourselves sometimes at the heat of the moment
The words ‘I am sorry’ is a beautiful way of seeking forgiveness and the person to whom it is said may first show grudge but it indicates him / her that you do care for patching up
Moreover, saying sorry to someone might soften him/ her and he/ she may vent out anger on you but ultimately solving problems together leads to a solution
When you apologize someone, you pave the way for saving a relationship that might be going to be damaged beyond repair with just cold silence and gross ignorance between both
Don’t forget to say sorry to someone today who you think needs to hear this word!
