Akshata Murty, who is the wife of UK’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the first Indian First Lady of the UK has a net worth of $1.3 billion, according to Bloomberg

Born in Karnataka’s Hubli, the 42-year-old businesswoman of the UK met the love of her life while pursuing an MBA degree from Stanford University

Murty tied the knot with Sunak in 2009 and the 222 nd richest power couple of the UK has two daughters named Anoushka and Krishna

Murty, who is a billionaire heiress, was raised by her grandparents in simple manner as her parents N. R. Narayana and Sudha spent most of their time to launch their IT company Infosys

She holds a 0.93% stake in Infosys which is valued at around £700 million in April 2022
