Kedarnath Temple which is one of the most famous shrines of Lord Shiva in India opened its doors for devotees on April 25, 2023

This Hump inside the temple is in the form of a conical rock formation and is worshipped as Lord Shiva manifested in his Sadashiva form.

The best time to visit Kedarnath Temple is from May to November and the last destination that is accessible by vehicles is Gaurikund from where pilgrims have to trek for 16 km to reach the temple or avail any Dandi, Kandi or Horse services
