Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut hoped that Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw her film Tejas where she starred as IAF officer Tejas Gill
Ranaut’s post came when PM Modi’s pictures of successful sortie on Tejas aircraft are going viral across social media platforms.
The Prime Minister took a sortie on Tejas aircraft at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) site in Karnataka's Bengaluru
Sharing some photos of his exciting journey on X, Modi wrote, “Successfully completed a sortie on the Tejas.”
“The experience was incredibly enriching, significantly bolstering my confidence in our country's indigenous capabilities, and leaving me with a renewed sense of pride and optimism about our national potential,” he added
Ranaut, who retweeted Modi’s post, also revealed that people who have missed seeing the film in theatres would soon be able to see it on OTT platforms ZEE5 and Sony Liv
“We hope honourable Prime Minister @narendramodiji saw our film #Tejas dedicated to made in Bharat fighter jet Tejas and our Indian Air Force,” she wrote in a post on X
“Those of you who missed it in the theatres, soon it will be available on @ZEE5India and @SonyLIV. Jai Hind,” she added
Directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film was released on October 27, 2023
Tejas emerged as one of Hindi cinema's biggest box-office disaster within its first two days of release with most theatrical screenings being cancelled on its opening day.
