Apple, one of the most popular technology companies in the world, has finally opened its first store in India at 11 AM on April 18, 2023

The store is located at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) which is one of the bustling hubs of India

The beautiful store is operationally carbon neutral and runs on 100 percent renewable energy.

People will witness an innovative exterior design of the store which comprises of a triangular handcrafted timber ceiling along with stunning glass facades

Apple BKC is designed to be one of the most energy-efficient Apple Store locations in the world, with a dedicated solar array and zero reliance on fossil fuels for store operations

A total of 1000 timber tiles make up the eco-friendly ceiling of the store and each tile has been crafted with the help of 408 pieces of timber

When you first step into this amazing store, you will be greeted with two stone walls sourced from Rajasthan and a 14-meter-long stainless steel staircase connecting the ground level and the cantilevered mezzanine

Besides the display tables and avenues showcasing different merchandises of Apple, the store also has the facility of Apple Pickup, which makes it even easier for customers to place an order online and pick up products when it’s most convenient for them

The store which has been inaugurated by Apple CEO Tim Cook has more than 100 employees who collectively can speak over 20 languages
