The manufacturing plant set up in 44.20 acre land will also provide employment to a number of women and give fillip to the economy of the state as well as create opportunities for auxiliary industries
Sarma urged the people to extend their full support to the new industries that are investing in Assam so that the state sees a massive development with industrialization
“Assam has 15 lakh unemployed boys and girls. We have provide 1 lakh government jobs, we may be able to provide another 1 lakh in the next 4-5 years,” said Sarma
“The government has to give a salary to provide jobs and to arrange it, taxes need to be collected from you. So a government job is not the answer to unemployment,” he added
He also said that the solution to unemployment is industrialization and employment generation would be more only when the industries become more
