Bhutan King or as popularly known the Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck’s official residence is Lingkana Palace located in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan

He tied the knot with Queen Jetsun Pema in 2011 and the latter is known as the Druk Gyaltsuen

Their first son Jigme Namgyel was born on February 5, 2016

The King and Queen’s second son Ugyen Wangchuck was born on March 19, 2020

On September 9, 2023, the King announced that the Queen had delivered their third child and only daughter at this palace
