Tea is a much loved beverage that is taken widely by people throughout a day for getting refreshed with energy

1. Take 2 cups of  tea a day without accompaniments such as biscuits and bhujia and preferably limit sugar

2. Do not have tea with meals and also nuts or close to meals there should be a minimum gap of 40mins to 1 hr

3. If you are someone with anxiety, sleep disorders, or digestion issues avoid tea close to bedtime

4. Avoid drinking tea empty stomach which can cause acidity

5. Drink a glass of water 30 mins before and after tea/ coffee as it helps in diluting the acid levels and helps in avoiding digestion issues with tea coffee consumption

6. If you are someone who loves tea too much, keep the sugar intake to a minimum. There are only 19 calories of sugar in 1 tsp and 1 tbsp has 48 calories. Keep the total daily added sugar qty to 10gms a day

7. Biscuits and bhujia are not only rich in calories but are also loaded with palm oil, refined flour, sugar, and transfat so daily consumption of which can be harmful to your overall health and has the potential of causing normal imbalance. Avoid these while drinking tea as much as possible
