The 2.6 km four lane flyover will connect Maligaon Chariali to Kamakhya Gate. It also has a wing towards Pandu Ghat
Built at a cost of Rs. 420 crores, the Nilachal Flyover will ease traffic woes in Guwahati and help commuters travel without much hassle in the western part of the city
The Nilachal Flyover, which is one of the latest architectural marvels of Guwahati, has been beautified with marvellous and creative artworks by some talented artists
The inauguration event was attended by Guwahati MP Queen Oja, Dispur MLA Atul Bora, West Guwahati MLA Ramendra Narayan Kalita, Assam irrigation minister Ashok Singhal among other dignitaries
