Sharing a video on X (formerly Twitter), Sarma said that he took a ‘midnight rendezvous trip’ to inspect the soon to be inaugurated longest flyover in Assam

The 2.6km four-lane flyover connecting Maligaon Chariali to Kamakhya Temple Road tri-junction and towards Pandu, which will be inaugurated on August 30, is going to be the longest flyover of Assam

A total of Rs. 420 crore has been spent on constructing the bridge

The construction of the bridge saw many challenges like traffic jams for hours even on weekends and accidents too
