Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor congratulated cricketer MS Dhoni’s hairstylist Aalim Hakim for creating his new hairstyle which has been going viral on social media

Hakim, who shared some of the cricketer’s new looks in a post on Instagram, revealed how it has been an amazing opportunity for any creative person like him to collaborate with Dhoni

“Yessss!!! It’s our Mahendra Singh Dhoni . It’s an amazing opportunity for any creative person to get associated with Mahendra Singh Dhoni and I’m always grateful that I get this honour to show my craft by styling his hair,” he wrote in a caption

Hakim also revealed how he requested Dhoni to grow his hair long and the latter’s long hairstyles made him look unique as a cricketer in the past

“We have done some really cool different hairstyles in the past but before the last IPL when everyone was cutting their hair sharp and short..,” he added

“That time Mahi bhai showed me one image of his which was a fanmade image of him with long hair and I just got fascinated with that image and requested him to grow his hair long… We both promised each other that will not touch his hair and keep growing it and then we will cut & style it,” he added

Hakim, who claimed to have been a fan of Dhoni’s long hairstyle, also wrote how he enjoyed creating an effortless hairstyle now for the cricketer

“I have been a huge fan of Mahi bhai’s long hair, we decided to create an all new texture and colour for the hair…I really enjoyed creating this effortless hairstyle for Mahi bhai,” he added

Anil Kapoor appreciated Hakim’s work on Dhoni in the comments section of the latter’s long post on Instagram

“He’s looking great aalim .. great hair cut and the aalim touch,” wrote Kapoor
