Automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has recently collaborated with music maestro AR Rahman to introduce its new range of electric SUVs in the market
The new sonic identity and anthem ‘Le Chalaang’ by Rahman includes over 75 meticulously crafted sounds like drive sounds and experience modes
Rahman’s innovative anthem for the reputed automobile manufacturer was highly praised by its owner Anand Mahindra who believes that it will help its new range of born electric vehicles experience a giant ‘Chalang’ or jump in market
“Your music & sounds will help our product experience take a giant ‘Chalang’ to another orbit, @arrahman. Thank you for being at the launch and for sharing your passion for innovation,” he wrote in a post on X
“Together, we’ll explore the impossible. Loved your anthem for us, although I must admit, I am partial to the Tamil version!” he added
Meanwhile, the music maestro himself felt ‘immense pride’ on composing a ‘sonic journey’ for Mahindra & Mahindra
“Just as music transcends borders, innovation knows no bounds. Collaborating with Mahindra on their electric SUVs brought immense pride and was an incredibly fun project to compose,” Rahman wrote in a post on X

This new sonic identity showcases Mahindra's pursuit of sustainability and commitment to caring for the planet, highlighting the brand's connection between its Indian roots and ambitious global outreach
The sonic compositions were developed after Rahman spent time at Mahindra's testing facility in Kanchipuram, analyzing soundscapes of leading electric vehicles
