Tripura CM to inaugurate Dharmanagar book fair tomorrow

Dharmanagar will hold five-day book fair from Tuesday at Dharmanagar Bir Bikram Institution, MLA Biswabandhu Sen stated. Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb will inaugurate the fair.

The fair will continue from 22 -26 May.

Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb will inaugurate the fair in presence of MLA Biswabandhu Sen and others.  Amrita Majumder and Saurav Goswami are appointed as the convener and joint convener respectively. The fair aims to connect people beyond cast creed religion.

A total of five lakh twenty thousand has been allotted from the budget for the fair.  Around 45 stalls will be put up and a discount of 15 percent with every book will be given.

The fair will be dedicated to five eminent writers including Rabindranath Tagore, Atul Prasad Sen, Bijendrala Roy, Rajani Kanta Sen and Kazi Nazrul Islam.

35 teams will be participating for cultural performance.  As a part of the program, Sapan Guha and Nanada Kumar Debbarma will also be felicitated in the program
