Sikkim Governor Shriniwas Patil visited Shri Krishna Pranami Mangal Dham, Namphing Bermeok at South Sikkim on Thursday.

He was warmly received by the Panchayat members and devotees gathered at the premises. Governor Patil offered prayers and participated in the spiritual discourse. Expressing his pleasure of visiting such a beautiful religious place Governor Patil also urged the devotees present to imbibe virtues of Lord Krishna and work for the welfare of community and the nation.

Later on the day, the Sikkim Governor also stopped en route to Gangtok,  at the Multi Purpose Rehabilitation Centre, Reshep, Bermeok Tokal,  being constructed under the aegis of Sikkim Viklang Sahayata Samithi, and took updates from the concerned agency on the site.

He directed the agencies involved in the construction to expedite the work so that the project would benefit the targeted section of population on time.
