Dimapur: Newly elected BJP MLA Doachier I Imchen was sworn in as a member of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on Thursday.
The ceremony was held at the Speaker’s chamber in Kohima.
Speaker Sharingain Longkumer administered the oath of office to Imchen.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, Parliamentary Affairs Minister KG Kenye, Adviser for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources A Pangjung Jamir, and MLAs Achumbemo Kikon and Nuklutoshi.
Imchen was elected to the Nagaland Assembly in the by-election to the Koridang Assembly constituency held on April 9.
