Working mothers can now put their worries and work in peace.

The Arunachal Pradesh civil secretariat has opened a crèche facility to provide care for children of its women employees.

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the crèche in Itanagar on Thursday.

The Arunachal Pradesh department of women and child development in collaboration with the Union ministry of women and child development set up the crèche.

The Arunachal Pradesh civil secretariat is the first to extend this facility to women employees in the northeastern region.

“Good news for working mothers! We now have Creche facilities for employees of Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat. I congratulate @WcdArunachal for the noble step! @MinistryWCD,” Pema Khandu tweeted.
