The 34-year-old actor, who had debuted in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoorโs second directorial venture Kai Po Che!, was found hanging in his Bandra home in Mumba.
Initial reports from the police say that he was suffering from depression for the past six months. A suicide note has not been recovered yet.
A pall of gloom descended upon Bollywood on Sunday afternoon, as soon as his death news broke.
