Capital city of Afghanistan – Kabul has been rocked by a twin blast leaving at least 19 dead and another 50 injured.
The blasts took place at Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan military hospital in Kabul on Tuesday afternoon.
Following the twin blast, gunfire was also reported inside the hospital.
A Taliban official, on condition of anonymity, told news agency AFP that a suicide bomber and a gunman were behind the Kabul hospital attack.
“Nineteen dead bodies and about 50 wounded people have been taken to hospitals in Kabul,” a health ministry official who asked not to be named told AFP.

Responsibility for the twin blast in Kabul on Tuesday has not been claimed by any terrorist outfit thus far.
