At least four persons were killed and 120 others injured in an earthquake that struck Turkey’s Aegean coast on Friday.
Authorities informed that those killed were drowned and tremors were also felt in Greece as well.
Some buildings collapsed in the coastal province of Izmir in Turkey, the authorities informed.
The quake recorded 7.0 on the Richter scale.
Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu informed that buildings collapsed in two districts of the coastal city of Izmir.
Even though there were no immediate reports of casualties from six other provinces where the earthquake was felt, but there were small cracks in some buildings.
