Tiger Shroff, who is known for his acting and dancing, released his Hindi song ‘Vande Mataram’ on Tuesday ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.

The patriotic song is a tribute to the defence forces of the country.

Sung by Tiger Shroff, the song is composed by Vishal Mishra and directed by Remo D’Souza.

The song, released just five days ahead of the 75th Independence Day celebrations, has been written by Kaushal Kishore.

Director Remo D’Souza is impressed by Tiger Shroff’s screen presence and says he does things effortlessly and makes it look uncomplicated.

Multitalented Tiger Shroff, also a martial artist, made his debut as a singer in 2020 with Unbelievable’ and ‘Casanova’.

“This one’s dedicated to our glorious nation & its people. It has been an unexplainable journey to make #VandeMataramSong. With great honour and pride, I present to you – #VandeMataram. This will always be very special & close to my heart,” Tiger Shroff tweeted while sharing the song.

In another tweet, Shroff said: “Delighted to collaborate with Tech Mahindra on #VandeMataram initiative in donating 20 ambulances as a Covid relief effort. All for one and one for all – #UnitedWeStand. Together we can make a difference! Vande Mataram.”

The Independence Day special song has been choreographed by Ankan Sen, Jueli Vaidya and Rahul Shetty.

‘Vande Mataram’ is a national song that was first composed in Sanskrit by Bankimchandra Chatterji and it was a source of inspiration for the people of the country in the freedom movement.

The first political occasion when it was sung was the 1896 session of the Indian National Congress.
