Ahead of Bangladesh tour of India, stylish Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal has pulled out of it citing personal reasons.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials on Saturday informed about Iqbal’s unavailability for the tour, without divulging any details about the probable “personal reasons”.

“Tamim Iqbal has made himself unavailable for the India tour and opener Imrul Kayes will replace him,” a BCB official informed the media.

Iqbal is the second player after all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin to miss the India tour.

Saifuddin is nursing a back injury and needs at least 6-7 weeks of rest to recover fully.

Bangladesh tour of India starts on November 3 and it includes three T20s and two test matches.

Star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will lead the 15-member Bangladeshi team.
