Indian pacer Mohammad Shami was subjected to abuse across social media platforms following the Indian cricket team’s humiliating loss to Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets in their opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday evening.

Fans took to social media platforms – Instagram and Twitter to pass derogatory statements on Mohammed Shami.

Meanwhile, Indian batting legend Virender Sehwag has come out in defense of Shami.

Sehwag has expressed shock at the abuse directed at Shami and said that he stands by him (Shami).

Mohammad Rizwan and skipper Babar Azam put on a remarkable show on Sunday as Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets in their opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Rizwan (79*) and Babar (68*) didn’t give any chance to India bowlers to come on top as the two batsmen continued to dominate the proceedings.

Pakistan chased down the target of 152 without losing any wicket and India looked clueless in their opening match against the rival team.
