In wake of the rising COVID19 cases across the country, the Chhattisgarh government has closed all the schools, colleges and anganwadis with immediate effect, said state minister Ravindra Choubey.

The schools in Chhattisgarh reopened for the students of Class 9 to 12 with effect from February 15, 2021, says a media report.

The Chhattisgarh government also allowed physical classes in universities and colleges to resume from February.

The physical classes in the educational institutes were reopened for the students with the proper precautionary measure.

The Chhattisgarh government issued instructions to all the school administration to ensure the implementation of SOPs and guidelines for COVID19.

The Chhattisgarh Cabinet also decided to resume skill development training programmes in the state.

But with the surge in COVID19 positive cases across the country, the Chhattisgarh government has ordered to close all the schools and colleges with immediate effect.

India’s total active caseload stood at 3.09 lakh (3,09,087) on Sunday.

A net incline of 20,693 cases recorded from the total active caseload in the last 24 hours.

A total of 197 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
