Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Junior Engineer and Depot Material Superintendent in 2026.

Name of post : Junior Engineer / Depot Material Superintendent

Qualification :

Junior Engineer Electrical: 

Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute

Junior Engineer Civil: 

(a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration or (b) a combination of any substream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Junior Engineer/ Track Machine: 

(a) Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Junior Engineer Mechanical: 

Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation and Control/ Tools and Machining/ Tools and Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation and Control/ Tools and Machining/ Tools and Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

Junior Engineer/ Diesel Electrical: 

Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Junior Engineer/ S and T/ Telecommunication

Three years Diploma in (a) Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Depot Material Superintendent: 

Three Years Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution. 

Age Limit : 18-33 years

Application Fees :

For all candidates (except categories given below ). Out of this fee of Rs. 500/-, an amount of Rs. 400/- is refundable duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st stage CBT

For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC). (Caution to Candidates: EBC should not be confused with OBC or EWS. EBC Certificate should also not be confused with Extremely Backward Class Certificate issued by some State Governments. This fee of Rs. 250/- is refundable duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.
