After former and present Indian cricketers and politicians in India, Mohammad Shami, the star Indian fast bowler has received support from a member of the Pakistan cricket team.

Pakistan opening batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who was instrumental in his team’s victory over India on Sunday in the ongoing T20 World Cup, has come out in support of Shami.

Indian pacer Mohammad Shami was subjected to abuse across social media platforms following the Indian cricket team’s humiliating loss to Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets in their opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday evening.

Backing the Indian pacer, Mohammad Rizwan tweeted: “The kind of pressure, struggles & sacrifices a player has to go through for his country & his people is immeasurable. @MdShami11 is a star & indeed of the best bowlers in the world Please respect your stars. This game should bring people together & not divide ‘em.”

Mohammad Rizwan and Pakistan skipper Babar Azam put on a remarkable show on Sunday as Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets in their opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Rizwan (79*) and Babar (68*) didn’t give any chance to India bowlers to come on top as the two batsmen continued to dominate the proceedings.

Pakistan chased down the target of 152 without losing any wicket and India looked clueless in their opening match against the rival team.
