The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths on Thursday raided actor Ananya Panday’s Mumbai residence and she was called for questioning by the anti-drugs agency at 2 pm.
Actor Ananya Panday’s name featured in the WhatsApp chats of one of the accused in the drugs-on-cruise case, in which superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan was arrested along with 19 others earlier this month.

Twenty-two-year-old Ananya debuted in films in 2019 and has worked in several high -rofile projects since then.
Ananya is the daughter of actor Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey.

Ananya and 23-year-old Aryan Khan are part of a group of star children, who have been known to socialise together.
According to a media report, both Ananya and Aryan have a common circle of friends.
Ananya is also Aryan’s sister Suhana’s best friend.

Aryan Khan has been in jail since October 8.
He was denied bail on Wednesday by a court stating that his WhatsApp chat revealed his involvement in “illicit drug activities”.
“WhatsApp chats prima facie reveals accused Aryan Khan is dealing in illicit drug activities for narcotic substances on regular basis,” the special court said.
