U Myint Swe, Vice President of Myanmar has pledged to promote bilateral relations and multisectoral cooperation with China.
He was speaking at a ceremony marking the 70th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) on Thursday.

Myint further said that over 700 million Chinese people have been lifted out of poverty in the last 7 decades.
“It is glad to witness that China now is the world’s second-largest economy,” Myint said.
The Myanmarese Vice President further said the two nations presently have reached the level of comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

“Both the nations have implemented close cooperation in many sectors as well as efforts to strengthen bilateral friendship in accordance with the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence,” Myint Swe added.
