The ministry of home affairs (MHA) reportedly has sought a report from the Punjab government on the incident of bomb blast at the Ludhiana court building.
At least one person has been killed and four others sustained injuries in the blast on Thursday.

The explosion took place at the bathroom in the court building’s second floor.
The person who has been killed in the blast is believed to be the suspect in the blast, police said.

“One person has been killed, who is believed to be the suspect and condition of the injured are stable,” informed Ludhiana police commissioner.
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has condemned the incident saying that the perpetrators of the blast “will be taken to task”.
On the other hand, Punjab deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said, “Ours is a border state, so we cannot rule out anything, including the possibility of external forces, as they never want Punjab to be stable; the whole state is on high alert.”
