A Congress party delegation led by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, on Wednesday, met President Ram Nath Kovind.

The Congress delegation urged President Kovind to “sack union minister Ajay Mishra, whose son Ashish Mishra, is accused of mowing down farmers in Uttar Pradesh.”

According to Rahul Gandhi, who spoke to the media after meeting the President said: “We told President Kovind we have two demands. We want independent enquiry. And we want MoS Ajay Misra removed. Till he is at his post, there can’t be justice.”
