Actor Jacqueline Fernandez was on Sunday stopped at the Mumbai Airport by immigration officials due to a LOC (Look Out Circular).
The Enforcement Directorate had opened a LOC against the actor in the Sukesh Chandrasekar case.
Fernandez wanted to go to Dubai for a show. She has been let go after brief questioning and has been informed that she has to appear before the probe agency in Delhi, ND TV reported.
The ED will issue fresh summons to her for appearing at the Delhi office tomorrow
The probe agency has filed a charge sheet in a Delhi court against conman Sukesh Chandrasekar and others in the 200-crore money laundering case, alleging that he extorted ? 200 crore from a businessman’s wife while he was lodged in Tihar jail.
The Enforcement Directorate had on Saturday filed a chargesheet under PMLA act naming a few Bollywood actresses as a witness including Jacqueline.
The court had taken cognizance of the charge sheet soon after it was filed and had asked the agency to supply the charge sheet copy to all the accused.
The next date in the charge sheet matter is December 13.
