Three Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and two other stars reached Abu Dhabi with their family on a private charter flight on Saturday for IPL 2021.
The other Mumbai Indians players who also flew from Manchester to Abu Dhabi along with Rohit Sharma are pacer Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav.
According to media reports, all three players will now undergo a six-day quarantine.

The players reached Abu Dhabi for the resumption of IPL 2021, Mumbai Indians said in a media release on Saturday.

“Mumbai Indians flew in three of its Indian contingent members, captain Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav, to Abu Dhabi on a private charter flight,” Mumbai Indians said in a statement.
“The trio, along with their families, arrived today morning and will now undergo 6 days hard quarantine, starting today as per the IPL’s guidelines,” the statement said.

It has been reported that the players were in Manchester for the fifth Test match against England which was cancelled due to the outbreak of Covid19.
The media statement said all the members of the Mumbai Indians team returned after their RT-PCR results came negative before boarding the flight to Abu Dhabi.
The franchise posted a picture of Rohit Sharma with his wife Ritika and daughter Samaira.
Fresh tests were carried out as they reached Abu Dhabi and the results came negative.
