India has registered nearly 3.5 lakh new Covid19 positive cases and 2,767 deaths in the last 24 hours.

On daily basis, India continues to report more than 3 lakh Covid19 positive cases.

According to the Union health ministry, the country reported a total of 349,691 new infections in the last 24 hours.

With the new cases, India’s total tally of Covid19 positive cases increased to 1,69,60,172.

The active cases have increased to 26,82,751 comprising 15.82% of the total infections.

However, the national Covid19 recovery rate has further dropped to 83.05%.

Meanwhile, Bharat Biotech International Limited has increased the prices of Covid19 vaccine Covaxin

Following the central India directives, Bharat Biotech announced to the prices of Covaxin vaccines – Rs 600 per dose for state hospitals and Rs 1,200 per dose for private hospitals.

Meanwhile, in order to meet the crisis of oxygen, the Indian Railways recently started moving Oxygen Expresses and in the last 24 hours, nearly 150 tonnes of oxygen were delivered.

Oxygen Expresses with Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) tankers arrived at Nashik and Lucknow for Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh respectively, the Railway ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

Few containers were unloaded at Nagpur and Varanasi en route to supply LMO in these region.

Also, third Oxygen Express started its journey from Lucknow in the morning on Saturday.

“States like Andhra Pradesh, Delhi are in consultation with Railways to run more such trains,” the Railway ministry said.
