The Government of India has called upon people to submit videos of them singing the National Anthem.
This invitation is part of the celebrations of 75 years of independence, which will be commemorate as “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”.
Individuals or groups can submit the videos of them singing the National Anthem by registering on the official website: rashtragaan.in.
A compilation of submitted videos of National Anthem will be shown live on Independence Day.
After selecting their preferred language and filling a basic form, the individuals can upload their video to participate in the competition.
Each participant will get a certificate on completion of the process.
Due to ongoing restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the Independence Day celebrations will be conducted online and such initiatives are to ensure maximum participation of the students on this big day.
“Top 100 videos will be selected for the song to be launched on TV, Radio, YouTube and social media platforms,” read a statement in the website.
How to submit videos:
- Visit the official website – rashtragaan.in.
- People are required to enter their names.
- On the appeared ‘Recording’ link, people can stand and record their video.
- After recording the video, click the upload option.
- People can download their certificates
