Hyundai Motor India Ltd on Wednesday revealed the first look of the new Grand i10.
This third generation of Hyundai’s popular hatchback brand would have its Indian launch on August 20 next.

The car has been named as Grand i10 Nios and will largely be offered for smaller towns and cities.
Like its predecessors, Nios will also have a 1.2-litre petrol engine offering a peak power of 83 ps and torque of 11.6 kgm.
It also retains a 1.2-litre diesel engine that offers a peak power of 75 ps and torque of 19.4 Kgm.

The interiors of the car have been fully redesigned.
Nios will have an upgraded AMT automatic transmission both in the petrol and diesel versions.
“We are glad to present the All-New 3rdGeneration GRAND i10 NIOS,” said SS Kim, managing director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd.
“Nios blends the intrinsic and intuitive beauty of the car with unique design sense constantly changing and fulfilling our customers’ expectations,” Kim added.
The company also informed that Hyundai currently has no plans to drop its diesel version and the version will continue in its every model except Santro.
The company believes that the new car would be able to revive the slump that has hit the sale of cars in India in the past few months.
i10 was launched in the Korean market in 2007 and since then it has been consistently a bestseller since then.
