Taking a fresh jibe at the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government at the Centre, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said the Country is witnessing “development of inflation”.
“Development of inflation,” Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi.
Rahul Gandhi also attached a picture citing problems faced by common people due to rise in prices of petrol and diesel.

On the other hand, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that the BJP should declare the day when prices of petrol and do not rise as “acche din” (Good day).
In tweet in Hindi, Priyanka Gandhi said, “The BJP Government should declare the day, when prices of petrol and diesel do not rise as ‘acche din’.”

Meanwhile, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has also lambasted the BJP-led Central Government over the unabated rise in prices of petrol and diesel.
Sonia Gandhi said: “The crude oil price is nearly half of what it was during the UPA Government’s tenure. Therefore, your Government’s act of raising prices is little less than a brazen act of profiteering.”
