India’s COVID-19 woes seems to have become never ending.
In yet another massive spike in COVID-19 cases in India, the country, on Friday, logged over 3.47 lakh new cases.

India reported 3,47,254 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday at a positivity rate of 17.94%.
Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the country has risen to 20,18,825.

The total number of COVID-19 cases logged in India on Friday is 29,722 more than what was recorded on Thursday.
The union health ministry further informed that 703 new COVID-19 deaths were also recorded in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, the Omicron tally in India, on Friday, increased by 4.36%.
Overall Omicron tally has increased to 9692, the health ministry informed.
