A total of 818 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Nepal on Sunday, taking the country’s tally to 31,935, the health ministry said.
The health ministry spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam informed that three more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours and the death toll now stands at 149.

He further informed that of the new 818 cases, Kathmandu alone accounted for 166 cases.
“281people, who had earlier tested positive for the virus, have been discharged after recovery from various health facilities across the country,” he added.
The total number of recovered cases is 18,631, which is 58 per cent of total cases.

The health ministry spokesperson also informed that so far 6,00,444 PCR tests have been conducted in the country, including 8,026 in the last 24 hours.
There are 13,155 active COVID-19 cases in the country.
