For helping those people who find themselves locked and find it difficult to visit ATMs for withdrawing money, several banks have launched ‘money at your doorstep’ service.

SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and the Kotak Mahindra Bank will deliver money at the customers’ doorsteps.

SBI will deliver cash at the doorstep of the customers and they will be charged Rs 100 per transaction.

This facility is currently available for senior citizens, specially-abled people. But in times of medical emergency, any customer can avail this facility.

To avail the services, one will need to visit https://sbi.co.in/dsb and place one’s order.

HDFC Bank will also give a doorstep delivery facility to its customers and the limit could be Rs 5000-25000 and the bank could charge between Rs 100-200.

ICICI Bank is also giving this facility and can avail the facility by visiting [email protected]

One can also use customer care service to order cash between 9 am and 2 pm.

The cash will be delivered within a couple of hours.

The limit for ICICI is Rs 2000 to Rs 2 lakh and the bank will charge Rs 50 (one time) or 18 per cent of the amount.
