The number of positive coronavirus cases in a single day exploded on Monday in Ramganj area of Jaipur in Rajasthan as 10 members of the same family tested positive.
As per the health department sources, a mother and her son tested positive in the morning and towards the evening 8 other members of the family tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
This is the first time that 10 members of the same family tested positive for coronavirus in Rajasthan where the number of positive COVID-19 cases stands at 79.
Describing the situation as very serious, the medical department has strictly instructed the people to not come out of the houses.
“If you don’t follow the orders, the situation will soon get out of hand,” the department said.
