Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday he is fully committed to the National Education Policy (NEP) and assured that it will be implemented fully.

The PM M was addressing the conclave on Transformational Reforms in Higher Education under NEP.

โ€œAfter such a big reform was brought on paper, it is natural for some people to question as to how will it be implemented at the ground level,โ€ the PM said.

โ€œAll of you are directly involved with the implementation of the National Education Policy and therefore your role is very important,โ€ he added.

โ€œAs far as political will is concerned, I am fully committed to it and I am with all of you,โ€ he further said.

The Prime Minister further said that the NEP 2020 is being widely discussed across the country.

โ€œPeople from different fields and different ideologies are giving their views and reviewing the policy. This is a healthy debate,โ€ Modi said.

The PM further said that it was a matter of happiness that after the National Education Policy was launched, no one raised any doubt whether it was biased or is leaning towards one side.
