The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Saturday declared the results of Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) examinations.

While 99.98% of students cleared the Class 10 examination, 99.76% of the candidates passed the Class 12 examinations.

In view of the Covid19 situation in the country, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) cancelled the exams for Class 10 and 12 this year.

The results of Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) examinations have been made available on the official website of the CISCE – https://www.cisce.org/.

The students can also get the results through SMS.

The CISCE has declared the results on the basis of an alternate assessment policy decided by the council earlier.

According to a media report, in ISC (Class 12), girl students’ result is just 0.2% higher than that of the boys.

In ICSE (Class 10), both the boys and girls have achieved the same pass percentage of 99.8%.

In ISC (Class 12), the pass percentage of Scheduled Caste candidates stands at 99.61%.

A total of 4,401 candidates, belonging to the Scheduled Caste community, appeared in the examination.

A total of 3,399 Scheduled Tribe candidates appeared in the Class 12 examination and achieved a pass percentage of 99.71%.

A total of 15,349 Other Backward Classes candidates appeared in the Class 12 examination and achieved a pass percentage of 99.80%.

In ICSE (Class 10) examination, a total of 1,1934 Scheduled Caste candidates appeared and achieved a pass percentage of 99.97%.

A total of 7,326 Scheduled Tribe candidates appeared in the Class 10 examination and secured a pass percentage of 100.00%.

A total of 47294 Other Backward Classes candidates appeared in the Class 10 examination and secured a pass percentage of 99.98%.

Only a total of 230 students could not clear the Class 12 examination this year while only 45 students could not clear the Class 10 examination.
