Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian, reacting to President Trumpโ€™s offer, said, โ€œWe donโ€™t want the intervention of a third party to resolve the current military standoff.โ€

โ€œBetween China and India we have existing border-related mechanisms and communication channels,โ€ Zhao added.
