The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to conduct the Term 1 examination for Class 10 and 12 in mid-November this year.

The exact dates of the CBSE Term-1 exams will be out by mid-October.

The 90-minute Term 1 exam papers will be conducted with multiple-choice optical mark recognition (MCQ-OMR) question sheets.

The official notification for the same is yet to be announced by the CBSE board.

The CBSE board exams generally begin in February but due to the 2nd wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the exams were delayed.

However, the Term 2 exams have been scheduled for March-April 2022.

Term 1 pattern

The period of the term-1 exam is likely to be within 4-8 weeks.

The multiple-choice questions might also include case-based and reasoning-type MCQ questions.

The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
