While handing over the project to the residents of Bura, the first project to be completed, Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering shared that this is just the beginning.
“In a tale authored by His Majesty The King, you all are the protagonists. And with your passion to serve and the zeal for transformation, this story will leave imprints of success and pride in our history,” Dr Tshering said.
“We have heard stories of how our Dzongs were built by our forefathers in the day and by our guardian deities at night. Similarly, this water project was built by your passion, and reinforced by the prayers and blessings of His Majesty and our people.”
The Bhutan PM questioned the Desuups if they had achieved a milestone bigger than this water project in their lives thus far.
He urged them to continue rendering their services.
