โ€œI always say positive things and try not to spread negativity in any way but I think I should say this. This is kind of a defeat of BCCI,โ€ the spin wizard said on his Youtube channel.

โ€œThey did not treat a big player like him in the right way,โ€ he said.

โ€œThe retirement shouldnโ€™t have happened like this. This is coming straight from my heart and I believe millions of his fans feel the same way,โ€ Mushtaq added.

โ€œIโ€™m really sorry to BCCI that Iโ€™m saying this but they didnโ€™t treat Dhoni well, Iโ€™m hurt,โ€ he further said.

Former team India captain MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15 evening.

He played last for team India in the World Cup semi-final against New Zealand in 2019.

โ€œIt wouldโ€™ve been great to see him retire after playing in the India kit for one last time,โ€ Saqlain Mushtaq further added.
