Former President of the United States of America – Donald Trump has launched his new social media platform.
This launch of a new social media platform by the former US President follows a permanent ban by the Twitter on Donald Trump.
However, this new social media platform of Donald Trump looks and feels more like a blogging website.
This new site is named – From the Desk of Donald J. Trump.
Trump’s new website appears to be more like a blog — essentially for posting texts and images with some basic sharing functionality.

The new “platform” is styled like a generic version of Twitter but hosted as a running blog of commentary from Trump.
Users can read the posts that Trump shares, ‘heart’ them, and then reshare them to Twitter and Facebook, but they cannot directly comment on those posts.
The users, in fact, cannot even post their own content on the platform. Trump appears to be the only user posting content on the website at this time.
The website was formally launched on Tuesday.
Trump’s latest post in his new website is a video that advertises his new platform, calling it “a place to speak freely and safely”.
The launch comes just a day before Facebook’s Oversight Board is set to announce whether Trump will be allowed back on Facebook and other Facebook-owned social media platforms like Instagram.
Trump was banned from Facebook and Twitter in January after a right-wing mob stormed the US Capitol, leaving five people dead.
