Workers of the ‘Hindutva’ group – the Bajrang Dal, recently allegedly burnt copies of Kama Sutra at Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
According to reports, the Bajrang Dal workers burnt copies of Kama Sutra, saying that the book insults Hindu deities by showing them in “vulgar positions”.

Kama Sutra was written in Sanskrit by ancient Indian philosopher Vatsyayana almost 2000 years ago.
The book is the most celebrated treatise across the world on love and sex.

Videos circulated in the social media show the Bajrang Dal workers burnt copies of Kama Sutra outside a book store at Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
The group shouted “Jai Shri Ram” and “Har Har Mahadev” slogans while burning copies of the ancient world famous book.

The Bajrang Dal members also warned that they would burn the bookstore if it continued to sell copies of the Kama Sutra, according to reports.
