Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja feels that Babar Azam has the potential to surpass Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s batting records.
“Babar Azam has the potential to break Virat Kohli’s record but only if he can free his mind,” Raza said.
“Babar, in fact, is the only batsman who is a part of the top-5 of each of the ICC rankings. He is fifth in Tests, third in ODIs and the No.1 in T20Is,” Raza further added.
The former Pakistani player further added that for Babar Azam the sky is the limit and he needs to live up to his potential.
Azam, however, has shrugged off the comparisons and time and again has said that Kohli is already a legend and he looks up to him for inspiration.
