โIn the last four years, no players from the district could take part in any kind of cricket tournaments organized in the state by the ACA,โ said ACA secretary Devajit Saikia.
โThis was because Majuliโs cricket association didnโt have ACA affiliation. The youngsters and the cricketing talents suffered because of this,โ he added.
โKeeping in mind the wellbeing of the players, we decided to take the initiative,โ he added.
Majuliโs cricket body will now be affiliated to ACA as per the constitution, he further informed.
