Eligibility Criteria :
Assistant Professor (History) : Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade. The candidate must have NETISLET/SET or Ph.D.
Assistant Professor (Applied Geology) : M. Tech/ M.Sc.in Applied Geology/ Geology as per UGC norms. The candidate should have preferably NET/GATE/SET/SLET or Ph.D.
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated)

For the post of Assistant Professor in Applied Geology, candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 06/08/2026 (Thursday). Time of interview is at 10:30 a.m. Venue is in the “Bhojraj Seth” Conference Hall in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Dibrugarh University, Assam
